Job Description

Rumi's Kitchen is currently seeking high-energy line cooks and prep cooks to join our kitchen team at our soon-to-open Mount Vernon Square location! We are searching for motivated, friendly individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive compensation will be offered commensurate with experience for seasoned line chefs and grillmen.

Responsibilities

• *** About the Positions ***
• Prep cooks are responsible for preparing recipes and recipe components.
• Line cooks work as a team to either grill or plate guests' orders.
• *** About You ***
• Both roles are suited for someone who enjoys variety in their work day but is reliable and committed to small details. Willingness to take direction from chefs and managers is required.
• Restaurant experience is not necessary, but we prefer candidates with demonstrated success in team-based roles.
• *** How to Proceed ***

• Paid training last approximately two weeks; our comprehensive training does require dedication to complete.
• Both morning and evening shifts are available, and typically last 6-8 hours.
