Job Description

As a Paul Martin’s server, you are serious about the craft of serving and truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accomodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. Ideal candidates will have at least some upscale or fine dining experience. You are an avid student of food and beverages with a desire to expand your understanding of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate to enhance the guests’ experience. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride. Instead of asking when you can be cut you ask your teammates what you can do to get the whole team out of the restaurant sooner. Ideal candidates will be just as flexible with their availability as we are with the schedule.

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of menu and answer questions
• Guide the guest through ordering asking pertinent questions and making recommendations
• Constantly manage tables paying close attention to cleanliness and order
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude and get management involved immediately for resolution.
• Set up teammates for success by exercising due diligence in completing assigned and running side-work.
