Job Description

Kintaro Ramen is a small ramen shop located in Downtown Arlington across from UTA. We are looking to add to our kitchen staff. We offer the opportunity to learn new dishes with our rotating entrees and new ramen specials each month as well as preparing the more typical Tonkotsu and Paitan done the Kintaro style.

We're a great place for first time cooks or experienced chefs who are interested in learning more about ramen. Whether you're a student looking for a summer job or just coming out of culinary school, we have a place for you. We look forward to meeting you!

We are looking for full time, with both morning and evening shifts, but willing to consider part time. ""Sign on Bonus"" for full time cooks with open availability. Starting pay $13.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. cutting vegetables or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff per Kintaro guidelines
• Answer, report and follow Kitchen Manager’s instructions
• Clean up station nightly as well as weekly cleaning projects
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously with focus on presentation and speed
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
