Food Runner

Job Description

We are looking for a Food Runner who takes pride in their work with a strong attention to detail. As a Food Runner, you will be in charge of making sure orders are delivered in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining quality and safety standards. You are the gatekeeper between the kitchen and the guest. If you are organized and detail oriented, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize the food by order to ensure quality and accuracy

Read tickets and run food to correct table and seat numbers

Facilitate communication between the kitchen and the service staff

Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

Watch ticket times and communicate long ticket times with the Executive Chef

Communicate with management and servers regarding menu changes throughout service (86ed items, countdowns, etc)

Notify servers when needing assistance with food pick up and delivery

Communication: Exceptional communication and positive representation of the restaurant to customers

Interpersonal Relationships: Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

Participate in a team oriented work environment

Delegate the appropriate tasks and manage your work station to maintain the highest level of quality
