Job Description
As a food truck cook, you'll set up the line and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a truck pulling a trailer. Our food truck gets very busy in the biergarten so, you will need to be able to work well in a fast pace quick-service setting. Attention to detail and cleanliness is extremely important while providing quality meals and service. Hours of operation are Thursday & Friday from 3p-9p, Saturday 11a-9p, Sunday 11a-6p. 40 hours a week work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Must have valid DL
- Report to the local commissary
- Cook food in a variety of ways
- Prepare ingredients
- Possess a solid sense of timing
- Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock and place orders for shortages
