Job Description

As a cook/kitchen worker at Mellow Mushroom, you will learn each line from Salad/Appetizer, Sandwich/Grill, to Pizza/Expo and aren't shy to jump in the dish pit or prep items as needed. Experience is preferred, but we can always train the right candidate. Nights and weekends are required, as this is a restaurant. We are actively hiring for this position and will pay according to experience level and availability.

Responsibilities

-Cook food in a variety of ways

-Prepare ingredients

-Possess a solid sense of timing

-Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment

-Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

-Monitor stock and place orders for shortages
