Job Description
BIRD bakery is the premier nostalgic Dallas bakery. We bake everything from scratch, on-site, every day. We are currently accepting applications for part-time and full-time kitchen positions. This is a phenomenal ground level opportunity in an established, yet young company that is currently experiencing rapid expansion and growth.
Currently seeking kitchen prep/baker. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience (with cupcakes, a plus) or educated in the culinary arts. Must have extreme attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. Must be open to instruction and very willing to learn and adapt. Compensation will be based on experience. Must be willing to work overnight on occasion.

- Measure, weigh, and prep recipe ingredients
- Knead, roll, cut, and prep dough
- Decorate, glaze, apply icing, and prep toppings
- Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools
- Operate slicing, cutting, and wrapping equipment
- Order and receive supplies and materials
