Job Description
As a pastry assistant/baker you will be responsible for helping with daily dessert production for the restaurant as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pastry area. In addition, you will also be helping set up the station for service and execute the desserts to the Pastry Chef’s specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set and stock the station with mise en place
- Prep station in order to successfully execute service
- Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef and the Pastry Sous Chef each day to review the daily prep list
- Cleaning work station and surrounding prep areas
- Making sure station and surrounding storage areas are stocked according to health code standards
