Job Description
Fount is taking up a new space for intimate entertaining & casual hospitality. We've traveled the world cooking, experiencing & being changed by simple bites of lovingly prepared goods. We specialize in Grazing Tables and edible experiences while also being dedicated to our local food systems. Our shop in uptown focuses on rare & wild edibles with storied goods and bespoke beverage service.
We are seeking a Barista that loves food and the experience of casual & honest hospitality. We are a fast paced environment with heavy prep during the week and fast service on the weekends. A good candidate enjoys being a conductor for front of house & back of house with the ability to be creative.
At Fount every team member has creative outlet with an emphasis on seasonal and the upmost quality of ingredients from small batch artisans around the world. We offer benefits and competitive pay and no late hours
Pay rate
$10-$15 based on experience
Plus tips range from $8-$15/hr
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages
- Share knowledge and suggest menu items to customers
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Receive and process payments
- Prepare foods such as muffins, pastries, bagels, etc.
