Job Description
Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.

From the young age of 6, Ronnie worked at his grandmother’s restaurant and butcher shop, learning and perfecting the craft of burger making. In 2013, Ronnie continued the family burger business by opening his first burger joint, on Martha’s Vineyard Island. Using his grandmother’s signature recipes and mixing it with a modern day, ‘create your own’ concept, Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar has become a local favorite and tourist destination hot spot.

The family burger business began in Harlem in 1972, with Ronnie’s grandmother and her self-named burger joint called MAXINE’S. Maxine was the first black female union butcher in the country. From the 1950’s into the early 2000’s, Ronnie’s family owned and operated a number of the top restaurants, bars and butcher shops in Harlem – Maxine’s, Meat Masters, Twenty Two West, Dolls Bar, Jewels Bar to name a few. In 2013, Ronnie continued the family burger business and recipes, with his own burger joint, located on Martha’s Vineyard.
Our original location can be found downtown in the historic town of Oak Bluffs on the island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
Our newest location opened March 9, 2020 in Miami Beach, Florida.
