Job Description
As the chef, you’ll take complete responsibility for every plate that gets served and the overall direction of the menu. You’ll be expected to innovate and iterate on the menu to provide creative, quality food while meeting profit goals. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the kitchen staff and coaching employees on consistency, technique and skills.

Gentile's Bakery, Catering & Deli has been family owned and operated since 1993. At a young age, Filippo and Rachele moved from a small town, Macchiagodena located in the region of Molise in Italy. They worked hard to save up for their dream. The family opened up a little store on on Ridge Road in Parma 20 years ago preparing pizza and subs for their customers.
Deciding to expand the business, they moved to Old Brooklyn and added bakery and catering. For 18 years, through thick and thin, good times and bad, the family stood by each other working hard to one day build Filippo's and Rachele's dream; a beautiful store now open and located at 5626 Broadview Road in Parma.
They made the American dream possible with the help of their family and friends but most importantly, their loyal customers.
The Gentile Family makes a promise to their customers that they will continue to work hard and make every occasion memorable with the meals they prepare and the experience you have when you come to visit their store.
