Job Description
Fryer Cook – Funnel Cakes
As a Fryer Cook specializing in funnel cakes, you'll play a key role in preparing one of our most beloved menu items. Your main responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate the fryer while ensuring every funnel cake is cooked to golden perfection. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook funnel cakes to order, ensuring quality, consistency, and proper presentation.
- Operate and maintain deep fryers safely and efficiently.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking station throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory of funnel cake batter, toppings, and supplies; notify manager of low stock.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down fryer stations at opening and closing.
- Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle customer requests or questions related to funnel cakes in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and product quality.
- Support other kitchen duties as needed during slow periods or peak times.
