Job Description

General Purpose of the Job

The Pie Tap Saute Cook is responsible for preparing the highest quality menu items for guests while maintaining a clean, sanitized kitchen area. The Pizza Cookis responsible for consistently following recipes and procedures, as well as adhering to Pie Taps standards.

Responsibilities

  • The duties and responsibilities of a Pie Tap Saute Cook include, but are not limited to:
  • Communicates with management team or chef on any food related issues
  • Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, in full uniform
  • Fulfills job responsibilities to contribute to a successful operation
  • Works directly with team members to ensure all guest requests are accommodated - Follow recipes; upholds specs and perfect presentation of every dish
  • Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; ensures compliance with food handling requirements - Supports other stations and areas of the HOH as needed
  • Maintains neat and organized work areas
  • Accomplished all opening, running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next shift
  • Requirements

  • Well versed in preparing food items while constantly adhering to recipe standards - Teamwork oriented, fun, energetic, friendly and passionate
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined. Must attend and successfully complete the Pie Tap Heart of House training program prior to working a shift. Must successfully attend and complete all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.

Our dough is naturally leavened with a proprietary starter we’ve named ‘Romo’. This isn’t even close to an ordinary pizza dough, trust us.

Our open kitchen has twin Italian ovens firing up a whole new kind of pie. Bubbling mozzarella is topped with things like sliced-to-order prosciutto or house-made ricotta and sausage. That’s hot.

Tap:
The bar features a bangin’ vibe and over 35 taps pouring everything from local beer to specialty wine to crafted cocktails.

Pasta:
This pasta is killer. We make it from scratch under our own roof and put delicious stuff like meatballs and home grown herbs on top. Carbs well spent.
