Job Description

As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Kitchen Manager or Shift Leaders and also explore your ability to learn and move up into a leadership role yourself. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

Responsibilities

• Cook a variety of food with consistency while adhering to menu, procedure and recipe standards
• Prepare ingredients as instructed by trainers and/or the recipe book
• Possess a solid sense of timing and a strong attention to detail
• Set up/restock work stations with ingredients, cooking equipment and utensils
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Be on time or early and ready to begin working when you clock in
• Work as a part of a team where everyone looks out for each other in the kitchen, and show the same respect to them as you would like shown to you.
