Bartender

Job Description

As bartender, you’ll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide memorable experiences. You should find enjoyment in creating new and innovative cocktails, enhancing flavor profiles and pairing food and drinks. You will be successful if you're welcoming and personable and always seeking ways to exceed patrons' needs and expectations. As a bartender you'll have a responsibility to our patrons and their safety and must have a proper and thorough understanding of current laws.

• Must be at least 21

• Speak, read and understand English fluently. Knowledge of a second language is a plus

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender

• Ability to keep calm under pressure

• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

• Computer literacy

• Dependability, attendance, punctuality, and a commitment to do the job right are always essential

• Must have reliable transportation

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Frequent walking and standing, possibly for extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary

• Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check customers’ identification and confirms it meets the legal drinking age. Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

• Properly Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar/restaurants patrons

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

• Stay guest focused and nurture and excellent guest experience

• Provide expeditious and accurate service during service

• Always maintain a clean and safe work area observing all safety rules

• Complete all side work duties in a timely manner

• Assist servers during slow periods at the bar
