Job Description
Are you a people person with strong communication and attention to detail? You may be perfect for the Drive Thru Cashier position at Demeris Barbecue in Houston, TX. This full time or part time role is the face of our customer service experience, and requires a truly enthusiastic individual.
As Drive Thru Cashier, your responsibilities include:
-Offering exceptional customer service to guests
-Suggesting additional food and drink items to guests
-Recognizing first-time guests, as well as regulars, and developing a repertoire with customers
-Using the Point of Sale system
-Performing cash handling and checkout procedures correctly
-Attending to all side work such as cleaning, stocking, etc.

Responsibilities
- A strong understanding of the menu—from ingredients to seasonal changes
- Facilitating cars through the drive-thru line to avoid any major delays
