Job Description

As the driver, you are the face of our brand. You'll provide excellent customer service by ensuring orders are correct and delivered in a timely manner. You should be able to creatively solve problems and have a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers. A Driver's License and some cash handling will be required.

Our delivery drivers act as ambassadors for our brand and always exemplify our standards of customer service when interacting with customers whether that be wholesale, events or any individual you com in contact with when driving the Emporium van and wearing the Emporium uniform. It is important that you use kind and positive language and that you wear your most important piece of the uniform: your SMILE.

This opportunity is for steady work and you will be an actual employee of our company, unlike with contract delivery services where you are a contractor. This also means you eligible for our benefit plans and you know that you will be getting paid steadily. We almost only promote from within and as a small growing business there are often ways to move up into training and managing positions.

In addition to all of that, you get an inside look at a small but growing business. And of course, we love making good pies but we also love having fun with our work.

Part time (15-30 hrs/wk) and Full Time (30-40 hrs/wk) available

Positions start at $10.00/hr + tips (company tip supplement protocol with tip minimums) with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and bonuses.

Daytime shifts (with night shifts possible during the holidays)

Weekend availability is a plus!

Unlike most delivery jobs that rely on your own transportation, you will use our company vehicles. This means you are NOT responsible for gas, car insurance, wear and tear on your vehicle or maintenance. All the money you make hourly and tips stays in your pocket!

Opportunity to rise to supervisory positions exist for the right rock star candidate after demonstration of your skills and amazing work ethic. Days vary based on availability. People with weekend availability are currently priority. Hours run generally from 6am - 2pm, but vary by day and amount of pies to be made. Short days end as early as noon, long days can last until 4pm or later.

Wage: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour + tips and benefits

ALL DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENINGS AND MUST SUBMIT TO A DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING BEFORE A POSITION WILL BE OFFERED. WE WILL ALSO RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK ON YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery
• Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat
• Weigh, wrap, label and store cuts of meat
• Know and comply with proper storage standards
• Participate in product rotation, inventory, waste management and ordering of product
• Clean equipment and work areas according to sanitation standards
