Job Description
As a Biergarten Staff member you are the front-line of the Karbach hospitality experience. The Karbach Biergarten is an outdoor experience that allows guests to enjoy our beer in a fun and friendly environment. Our Biergarten features three outdoor bars, a full retail merchandise shop, outdoor games and multiple televisions. Whether enjoying the day as a family, watching sports with friends or just grabbing a beer and a bite to eat the Biergarten is about good beer and fun times.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Take guests’ beer orders and handle cash/credit transactions
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Serve beer to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for guests
- Practice responsible alcohol selling techniques

Non-Tipped Team Members Hourly Pay Starting at $15 p/hr
Tipped Team Members Hourly Pay Starting at $5 p/hr (average earnings between $18-$24 per hour with tips)
Pub Employees - Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, Busser,
Expo, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Dishwashers
Biergarten - Bartenders, Food Truck Cooks, Merchandise Sales

We’re extremely excited about this brewery, and we think it shows in everything we do. This is just plain fun for us. The day it starts to feel like a job is the day when lightning shall strike us dead. Cause, hey, at the end of the day we’re making beer. And beer is fun.
