Job Description
As host, you'll be the conductor of the orchestra that is service. You are the first impression of the restaurant and set the tone for guests' experiences. You will answer phones, take reservations, and be responsible for seating guests according to server availability. Your attention to detail and communication are critically important. You are also the last note of the experience, and will wish guests farewell and invite them to come back.

FM Kitchen & Bar is a neighborhood bar and restaurant located in the heart of Houston’s Washington Corridor and Rice Military area.
By day, customers come for our quality lunch, dinner and weekend brunch offerings—ordering celebrated items such as the FM Burger, Spicy Fried Chicken and Club Sandwiches, Steak Night and Seasonal Harvest Salad, among others. At night, a lively crowd gathers for the signature cocktail list—featuring our FM Ranch Water, Margaritas and Highballs—developed by FM Hospitality‘s bar team with a focus on using the freshest ingredients in fun and refreshing combinations. Additionally, FM offers a wide selection of craft beers featuring many of Houston’s favorite local breweries. The industrial chic interior design along with expansive dog-friendly patios prominent at each location, create a comfortable and vibrant atmosphere perfect for large groups, happy hours and private events. Seven days a week we are Houston's favorite daytime break, post work meet up or late night hang.
