Job Description
Delhi6 Indian Kitchen and Bar is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Kitchen Expeditor to support our upscale dining experience. This role is vital in ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our standards for quality, presentation, and timing.
Responsibilities
- * Plate and finalize dishes for dine-in and takeout service with precision and consistency
- * Ensure all orders meet Delhi6’s presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen
- * Coordinate seamlessly with chefs, line cooks, and servers to maintain efficient service flow
- * Manage and organize tickets to prioritize and expedite orders during high-volume periods
- * Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure accuracy and timing of orders
- * Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked expo station at all times
- * Assist with light prep work and support kitchen operations as needed
- * Uphold sanitation, safety, and food handling standards
- Requirements:
- * Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment
- * Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- * High attention to detail, especially in food presentation and accuracy
- * Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering a premium guest experience
- * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service hours is required
