Job Description
As line cook, you are responsible for the preparation, presentation and execution of all items on the menu. The kitchen isn't the only thing that heats up—in this fast paced environment, you'll be expected to maintain poise under pressure. You'll know your prep work like the back of your hand, and your closing duties won't even bother you.
Responsibilities
- Ability to effectively cook and present all items on the menu in a timely manner
- Complete assigned prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, and stock food as needed
- Exercising good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with all members of the BOH staff

Baton Creole is a permanent food truck currently located in front of Sagebrush Austin at 5500 S. Congress Ave. The truck is an extension of Lynzy Moran Catering & Events.
Our food truck specializes in New Orleans's style, Cajun and Creole food. We are also opening a new food truck concept in September at the same location.
We are looking to add another badass individual to join our team! We are a small, intimate staff of professionals. Beyond cooking and counter service, it is extremely important that there is a mutual respect between staff members and good vibes.
Although we are a food truck, it is restaurant quality with everything made in-house and from scratch.
