Wimberley Valley Winery is a hill country destination in Driftwood, Tx. Our guests love our engaging and fun wine tasting experiences, beautiful grounds, and delicious food. We're looking for the right candidate to join our family and serve our guests with excellence!

Wimebrley Valley Winery is looking for fun, upbeat, hard-working individual to work in our on-site food truck. Must have a willingness to learn and a great attitude. Looking for someone with a passion for food with beginner/intermediate experience. Work alongside our executive chef by creating delicious from scratch menu items. As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipe, take direction from management and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

As line cook, you are responsible for the preparation, presentation and execution of all items on the menu. The kitchen isn't the only thing that heats up—in this fast paced environment, you'll be expected to maintain poise under pressure. You'll know your prep work like the back of your hand, and your closing duties won't even bother you.

Pay: $12/hr - $18/hr + tips ($200-$500/week)

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Work schedule: Wednesday- Sunday
• 10am-8pm (hours will vary)
