Lead Bartender / Pick-Up Manager

Warehouse Billiard Bar – South Austin, TX

Warehouse Billiard Bar is looking for an experienced Lead Bartender / Pick-Up Manager to join our team. We’re searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, enjoys leading by example, and is passionate about hospitality.

Permanent Bartender Schedule

Applicants must be available for the following permanent shifts:

* Thursday: 7:00 PM – Close

* Friday: 7:00 PM – Close

* Saturday: 7:00 PM – Close

* Sunday: 7:00 PM – Close

Pick-Up Manager Availability

In addition to your permanent bartender shifts, applicants must be available to:

* Cover manager shifts Thursday through Sunday as needed.

* Pick up additional manager shifts during the week when our full-time managers request coverage.

* Work all major holidays.

Compensation

Estimated bi-weekly earnings: $1,900–$2,935, depending on hours worked, tips, and management coverage.

Lead Bartender Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

* Prepare quality cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits accurately and efficiently.

* Maintain speed and consistency during high-volume service.

* Build relationships with guests and create memorable experiences.

* Ensure responsible alcohol service while maintaining TABC compliance.

* Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked.

* Assist in training and mentoring newer bartenders.

Pick-Up Manager Responsibilities

* Oversee daily bar operations and support staff throughout the shift.

* Lead by example while maintaining a positive, professional work environment.

* Assist with training new staff.

* Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure outstanding customer service.

* Enforce company policies, safety standards, and TABC regulations.

* Maintain organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency throughout the shift.

* Step into management responsibilities when covering for full-time managers.

Qualifications

* Previous high-volume bartending experience required.

* Previous management or leadership experience preferred.

* Current TABC and Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain before employment).

* Strong communication and leadership skills.

* Dependable, punctual, and able to perform under pressure.

* Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

* Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts.
