Job Description
The best work schedule in the hospitality business (no late nights, no early mornings). This position is a 4-Day work week (either Thursday - Sunday or Friday - Monday) 9am/10am - 7pm/8pm.
Flat Creek Estate is an experience-driven destination winery 20 minutes from Cedar Park. Our culinary team is responsible for creating and executing seasonal menus to pair with a variety of winery offerings from appetizer tastings to casual picnic lunches to 3-course paired wine menus. The ideal candidate enjoys new challenges and a constant exploration of new recipes and ingredients. If selected, you will become a member of a small culinary team where you will be tasked with preparing our kitchen for the weekend.
Responsibilities
- Prep duties such as washing and chopping vegetables or cutting meat
- Label and stock ingredients on shelves
- Measure ingredients and seasonings
- Basic kitchen duties like reducing sauces or parboiling
- Prep simple dishes such as soups and salads
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
- Follow nutrition and sanitation guidelines
