Job Description
Blōōfin Sushi - Woodlands is looking for hardworking and passionate individuals to join our restaurant as a full time or part time server. As a restaurant server, providing the customer with a memorable experience is key, and your role will be integral in making that happen. You'll be expected to answer menu questions, manage multiple tables, and support the rest of the FOH staff during your shifts. Being able to handle unique problems as they arise? A major bonus. Our restaurant servers should make all of our guests feel comfortable and make recommendations you genuinely feel that your guests will enjoy. Blōōfin Sushi - Woodlands is located in The Woodlands, TX. This job is full time or part time.
Responsibilities
- What you’ll do:
- Demonstrate expertise of all food and beverage menu items with sound knowledge of all ingredients and preparations.
- Consistently follows steps of service with efficiency and grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
- Anticipates guest needs, ensuring constant communication with colleagues, management, and the kitchen at all times during service.
- Maintains the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service.
- Demonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and grow.
- What we need from you:
- 2+ years experience as a Server role in a full-service restaurant
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.

In its original translation, Edomae – “Edo”, the old name for Tokyo, and “Mae”, meaning front, referred to the fish caught in Tokyo Bay. Today Edomae refers to the traditional Tokyo way of preparing sushi but using fish from area waters.
