Job Description

Denny's Boiling Springs is looking for an energetic full time or part time Busser/Runner in Boiling Springs, SC who has a strong teamwork mindset and can handle being constantly on the move. Bussers/Runners are key members at Denny's Boiling Springs because they are able to ensure efficient workflow for the best guest experience and are considered a jack of all trades. Because of this, it is important for Bussers/Runners to be team players.

Key responsibilities of a Busser/Runner:

-Guest Service - though bussers may not interact with guests as often as other team members, they are still expected to communicate effectively when guests need their attention

-Provide a friendly, relaxing, professional demeanor and assist servers as needed

-Cleaning tables - removing plates, utensils, drinkware from tables and sanitizing all surfaces

-Resetting tables in a timely manner for the next guests

-Cleaning various areas in and around the restaurant

-Emptying trash cans

-Expedite/run food to the correct tables

-Notify management of any facility issues

-Clean up spills immediately

-Inspect restrooms to make sure they are clean at all times

Responsibilities

• As a Dishwasher/Service Assistant, you are a valuable member of the heart of the house team! You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment.
• What you will do:
• Maintains the dishroom and ensures that all dishware, utensils, pots and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Ensure that everything is cleaned properly for preparing and serving food to our guests.
• Keep all station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces clean and sanitized at all times.
• Properly dispose of any waste products.
• Cleans floors and removes garbage in front of house and back of house, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Busses and cleans guest tables in the dining room.
• Delivers trays of dirty dishware to dishroom and stocks service area with clean dishware.
