Job Description
Fogo de Chão - Santa Monica is looking for an energetic full time or part time Busser/Runner in Santa Monica, CA who has a strong teamwork mindset and can handle being constantly on the move. Bussers/Runners are key members at Fogo de Chão - Santa Monica because they are able to ensure efficient workflow for the best guest experience and are considered a jack of all trades. Because of this, it is important for Bussers/Runners to be team players.
Key responsibilities of a Busser/Runner:
-Guest Service - though bussers may not interact with guests as often as other team members, they are still expected to communicate effectively when guests need their attention
-Provide a friendly, relaxing, professional demeanor and assist servers as needed
-Cleaning tables - removing plates, utensils, drinkware from tables and sanitizing all surfaces
-Resetting tables in a timely manner for the next guests
-Cleaning various areas in and around the restaurant
-Emptying trash cans
-Expedite/run food to the correct tables
-Notify management of any facility issues
-Clean up spills immediately
-Inspect restrooms to make sure they are clean at all times

Responsibilities
- Provides Server support by maintaining the ice water, cheese rolls, side dishes and any other items as directed at each table.
- Executes table clean up and setup in an efficient manner.
- Transports trays from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
- Completes any beginning or closing shift duties.
- Assists in maintaining each service station.
- Manages competing demands while putting the guest first.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and transport objects up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Medical, Dental and Vision insurance is available for full-time, hourly employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
