Job Description

The security team provides general protection to the establishment and its guests and employees. You'll handle any ID checking, escalations and removals, as well as communicate with law enforcement and management.

• Neighbor’s Pub located in the heart of Virginia Highland District of downtown Atlanta.
• A 30+ year establishment featuring , high volume bar for young adults with a seasoned and efficient staff.
• *THIS IS A LATE NIGHT
• WEEKEND POSITION*
• 9pm - 3am Friday and Saturday nights. Bar, small kitchen, door staff, security staff, bar staff. Large facility that requires lots of attention to detail. Well established ownership that is hands-on in training and operating the business.
• *Experience in Bar/Nightclub security is a plus but not required.
• *This is not a laid-back position. You will be on your feet for long periods of time and you will get your hands dirty.
• JOB DESCRIPTION
• Security Guard/Door Staff is responsible for maintaining the safety of all individuals by monitoring all entrances and exits, watching the crowd for altercations, quickly quelling disputes, controlling who enters the premises, and monitoring all areas where cash is held or changes hands while always remaining friendly, professional, calm, and in control of every potential situation.
• All Security/Door Personnel reports to the General Manager as well as the head of the Security Team.
• I will meet with all interested applicants on Thursday nights beginning at 5:00pm and ending at 10pm each evening.
