Job Description
As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accommodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
Responsibilities
- Present menu and answer questions
- Take orders and make recommendations
- Manage tables paying attention to cleanliness and order
- Issue bills and accept payment

About El Lopo
El Lopo is a 50-seat wine bar in San Francisco with a major emphasis on Spanish-inspired bar food and beverages. We opened in March of 2019 with a very small team, and have been learning a lot as we go. Most of our sales are wines by the glass, about two-thirds of which are from Spain, but the menu is rounded out by a unique selection of sherry, vermouth, cider, and low-proof cocktails. While we definitely get the occasional pub crawl or spillover crowds from rowdier bars nearby, our everyday clientele appreciate a more thoughtful and curated (but never pretentious) atmosphere.
