Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Server/Waitress/Waiters to join our team at Fanzo Sports Bar. As a Server/Waitress/Waiter, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

• Customer Service Expert: Providing exceptional customer service is paramount. This involves greeting patrons warmly, taking drink orders accurately, and engaging in friendly conversation to enhance the customer experience.
• Beverage Knowledge: A cocktail server should have a good understanding of the establishment's drink menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. They should be able to make recommendations based on customer preferences and answer questions about ingredients and flavors.
• Mixologist Assistant: While not typically responsible for crafting complex cocktails, cocktail servers should have a basic understanding of mixing drinks and be able to prepare simple cocktails or pour standard drinks. They may also assist bartenders by fetching ingredients or garnishes.
• Upselling and Promotion: Encouraging customers to try new or premium drinks and upselling additional items such as appetizers or desserts can boost sales. Cocktail servers play a crucial role in promoting specials, signature drinks, and seasonal offerings.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the bar area clean and organized is essential for a pleasant customer experience and efficient service. This includes wiping down surfaces, polishing glassware, and ensuring that bar tools and supplies are neatly arranged.
• Payment Processing: Handling customer payments accurately and efficiently is part of the job. Cocktail servers must be proficient in processing cash, credit cards, and electronic payments, as well as managing tabs and issuing receipts.
• Compliance with Regulations: Adhering to alcohol service laws and regulations is vital. Cocktail servers must verify customers' ages by checking IDs and refuse service to individuals who are underage or intoxicated. They should also be aware of responsible serving practices to prevent overconsumption.
• Team Player: Collaboration with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, is essential for seamless operations. Cocktail servers should communicate effectively with colleagues, assist when needed, and maintain a positive working environment.
• Conflict Resolution: Handling customer complaints or issues professionally and courteously is crucial. Cocktail servers should be equipped to address concerns promptly, escalate serious matters to management if necessary, and strive to resolve conflicts to customers' satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: While not typically responsible for inventory control, cocktail servers may assist in monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished. They should also help minimize waste by portioning ingredients appropriately.
• Requirements:
• Previous experience as a server/waitress in a high-end or upscale dining environment is preferred.
