As restaurateurs, my wife Brenda Figueroa (the "fig" in Fig's Prime) and I hope you enjoy your experience. Our favorite memories often stem from the times we feel cozily connected to a place and its people. So likewise, we want you to feel connected to a dining experience through this restaurant and how ingredients are related to food. Whether it is our upscale ambiance, attentive staff, or dishes, we hope our warmth and layers of texture leave your palette feeling naturally crisp. So finally, may your spirit feel that Fig’s is the place you want to visit again, accompanied by family and friends.
I, Executive Chef Victor Gonzalez, and my wife love our community. What I bring to Fig's Prime is thirty-plus years' experience working in several fine dining Orlando area restaurants and my training in Italian cooking. Arriving from Puerto Rico to Orlando I worked for one of Epcot's restaurants for many years. In addition to English and Spanish, I learned to speak fluent Italian while working at Epcot. So feel free to speak to me in any of those languages for fun.
