Position Overview

Kouyou Sushi & Buffet is seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Servers to join our front-of-house team. Servers are responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by providing prompt, courteous service while maintaining Kouyou’s standards of quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience

• Explain buffet offerings, sushi selections, and house policies clearly and confidently

• Take drink orders and deliver beverages promptly

• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout their visit

• Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness

• Communicate guest feedback or concerns to management professionally

• Work collaboratively with hosts, bussers, sushi chefs, and kitchen staff

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate items
