Job Description
As a Food Server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accommodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
Responsibilities
- Present menu and answer questions
- Take orders and make recommendations
- Manage tables paying attention to cleanliness and order
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Theismann’s is a landmark restaurant. Opened 1975 in partnership with legendary Redskins QB, Joe Theismann, it serves its menu of hearty, classic and creative American favorites in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Unique in character and difficult to categorize, it melds the essences of fine dining, neighborhood gathering place and energetic sports bar. The menu, while focused on comfortable dining, is 100% from scratch in our chef-driven kitchen. The bar features extensive offerings with wines from around the world, a thoughtful beer program and both classic and creative cocktails. Long-time regulars flock to Theismann’s for the “over the top friendly” service from a veteran team of chef and service team members.
