Job Description
The ultimate grape connoisseur, you'll play cupid and match wine with the perfect food. You'll likely develop a wine program at a restaurant, and hop on your soap box when guests ask you which bottle is best. Your personality is your greatest weapon, and every time you show face at a table they'll be left with a (purchased) bottle of wine they feel GOOD about.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with wine selection.
- Decant wine for guests.
- Develop a training program for staff to learn wine tasting and service.
- Order, receive, organize, and sell wine.
- Manage wine purchasing and budget.
- Develop and maintain wine program if applicable.
