Job Description
April's Table is seeking a motivated, experienced Chef to begin their role in early July. Works directly under the Chef along with the Executive Chef and Owner, including food preparation and production keeping with health and safety standards, inventory, collaborative menu planning and food and product ordering. Responsibilities will include food preparation for events, our Dinner Club, custom pickups, and our Whole Food Plant Based menu. This role also includes maintaining cleanliness of the shop along with Chef. Schedule of Monday - Friday, mostly daytime hours, with Event work available during the week and weekends with required minimums for additional pay along with salary. Schedule based on events and busy seasons. One week PTO offered. Opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in various kitchen positions, the ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, must have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time, and must be able to work in a team atmosphere with a positive attitude. Must also have a reliable mode of transportation to shop and events.
