At Chuy's - West Plano, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our front of house team as a full time or part time waiter/waitress. By joining our wait staff, you'll be expected to educate patrons on the menu, guide them through their meal, and provide a memorable experience. At Chuy's - West Plano, being able to think quickly, take problems in stride, and work well as part of a team is a must. Waiters/waitresses should learn the menu and continually educate themselves on specials. A successful waiter/waitress will handle complaints with patience and grace. About Chuy's - West Plano
Chuy's opened on April 16, 1982 in an old, abandoned Texas Barbeque joint on iconic Barton Springs Road in Austin, TX. There was seating for about sixty, a women's restroom the size of a broom closet and a men's restroom that was, well, outside. Founders Mike Young and John Zapp had a vision of a fun and funky Tex-Mex restaurant that served authentic and fresh food in an atmosphere that appealed to everyone. From these humble beginnings Chuy's was born.
