Many people ask us about the origin of the name and if there really was a “Glenn.” Sure enough! Glenn’s Bar and Grill is named after Glenn Evans. Plum Creek Golf Course is the result of Glenn and his wife Mary’s vision and substantial effort. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Glenn was an avid sportsman, an Arkansas State Boxing Champion, a minor league baseball player, and an avid golfer. Glenn and Mary believed that this beautiful land in Kyle would be a great match for a fun and challenging links-style golf course. Their dream became a reality in 1999 with the opening of Plum Creek Golf Course. Glenn and Mary were wonderful people! We are pleased to honor them with this fun and family-friendly restaurant!
