Our little Dallas based food truck which we proudly named Nammi came to life on May 21th, 2011 at the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. Sensing the lack of quality, unique Vietnamese food in the Dallas area, we wanted to introduce Vietnamese food in a different, more mobile way. Putting a twist to traditional Vietnamese cuisine, we fused flavors and tastes from different cultures using Vietnamese as the foundation to build upon. Our menu consists of banh mi - which is a typical Vietnamese street sandwich, Asian style tacos, noodle bowls and rice bowls. Since our eventful first day, (we had no idea what we were doing) we have been trucking along and have never looked back. We have now expanded to a second truck and even opened a small brick and mortar location at the Dallas Farmers Market in April of 2016. Our next step is to expand our fusion concept to other areas outside of Dallas to share our flavors!
