Jamie Geer the creator of Jambos and its recipes opened the Rendon store in June of 2013 and sold it to Ashton & Paul Lovato in May of 2014. Jamie then went on to win the Grand championship of BBQ Pitmasters in 2015. Paul and Ashton expanded the customer base, promoted, extending hours, and then expanded into Arlington opening the Arlington location in late July of 2015.
