Fresh into retirement, Jeffrey Yarmuth, a 40-year veteran of the restaurant business, quickly found it difficult to rest on his laurels. He soon set his sights on developing a new fast casual brand focused on elevating the iconic grilled cheese sandwich. The inspiration came from many of Yarmuth’s favorite New York City joints – the type of niche restaurants with simple menus that focus on reimagining familiar foods. Yarmuth enlisted the help of his daughter, Megan, to help create and execute the brand.
