Ware Sykes is the CEO of Seasoned, the first hospitality-centric community to connect food service professionals with employers. Throughout his career, which spans nearly 20 years, he has generated dramatic growth in technology-enabled networks.
A sought-after industry thought leader, Ware sits on the Restaurant Leadership Conference’s Advisory Council, which is composed of industry pioneers who help shape the direction of the restaurant industry. Previously, he was CEO of Nowait, the first mobile network for casual-dining restaurants that pioneered the ability for consumers to “get in line” remotely, which was acquired by Yelp in 2017. After the acquisition, he was Vice President of Yelp’s restaurant strategy. Earlier in his career, Ware was an executive at TheLadders, an online job-search service for corporate professionals. He holds an MBA in finance and entrepreneurial studies from Columbia Business School and a BA in economics from Hamilton College.
A recent transplant to the Bay Area, Ware lives with his wife and two children, and spends his time golfing, cooking, and dining out.
