“When greeting a guest I always approach the table with a smile. I then start with telling the guest a little background information about The Peached Tortilla to really get them comfortable with the style of food and service we provide. “When greeting a table, it’s not exactly what you say but what you do. The best thing you can do is greet someone with a warm smile. Greet them not like you’re about to serve them but greet them as you would greet anyone coming into your house. The main thing about hospitality is making somebody feel warm and welcome, and just make it look like you’re happy to see them. At the end of the day, it’s a restaurant – it’s food, drinks, and everybody is having a good time. If you’re having a good time as well it shows. People like that warm and inviting welcome.
