Big Top Candy Shop, the South Congress landmark and Austin's most famous confectionery, is NOW HIRING a General Manager. We're looking for someone with experience managing high-traffic retail or food service environments, whether you've got experience as a general manager, buyer, or shift lead. Come help us maintain this Austin landmark's designation as one of the most popular destinations in town.

You'll need to be outgoing, enthusiastic, upbeat, friendly, and charismatic. Experience in high-traffic retail or food service establishments is a must, and you'll need to fit in well with Big Top's already amazing crew of confectionery vagabonds and soda jerk misfits, and be ready to take charge and help maintain Big Top's smooth operations and awesome merchandising. You'll be responsible for our iconic soda fountain operations and leading and scheduling an 8-person crew to keep the shop running smooth while maintaining our high-quality food service. You'll also join our Buyer in maintaining vendor relations, placing orders, displaying merchandise, and general shop upkeep.
