Raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, Chef Nico Sanchez became fascinated with the culinary world at the age of 9 while working at a small bakery. Working his way up from delivery driver to cook to chef, he dedicated his life to connecting people through the art of food.
After moving to DFW in 1996, Chef Nico developed a deep love for all things Texas, including its barbecue and come as you are environment. With his passion for Mexican cuisine, he envisioned a restaurant where he could take the two styles and create a badass craft que with a unique Mexican flair: MEXI-QUE.
