About this location
About Bread Zeppelin - 1009 Park West
In 2010, high school friends Troy Charhon and Andrew Schoellkopf found themselves in similar roles working for high-end specialty food concepts in Dallas. While catching up over beers one night, they discussed ways to reinvent the humble sandwich and bring more energy to the local food scene.
That conversation sparked the idea for Bread Zeppelin. They immediately began refining their concept, perfecting their process, and carefully selecting the right ingredients.
After months of planning, the first Bread Zeppelin opened on MacArthur Boulevard in Las Colinas. It was an instant success, with lines out the door within months of opening. After overcoming a few early challenges—like running out of bread—Troy and Andrew found their rhythm.
Just over a year later, they opened their second location in Plano, Texas, and Bread Zeppelin has continued to grow ever since.
